BOOK REVIEW

| Origin by Dan Brown |

‘ORIGIN’ is the 2017 mystery thriller novel by American Author Dan Brown. It is the fifth of Robert Langdon Series following Inferno. After reading all other novels in this series, my expectations were high from this book. This book contains all the Dan Brown element like thrill, suspense, fascination, excitement mixed with apprehension, anticipation and most important a strong build-up of the book and then keeping up to it. The book dealt with the unveiling of a discovery by that “will change the face of science forever” and that change unveils the answer of two primary questions i.e. where we come from? And where are we going? And there answer will baffle you. The plot of this book is religion v/s science which is itself an intriguing topic of all time. This book tells about religion and their mythologies, science, scientific nature of religion beliefs. It tells us what actually happened at extreme start of this world, how humanity was created by natural events. With this novel we see murders, martyr, many conflicts, and mysteries and chase sequences like any detective movie and we also go on a code hunt and in search of this code we travel many places like foreign countries and their architects, we see many new symbols met many people which involve a protagonist girl with charming personality. This book has a beautiful potential insight in the future as it talks about E-waves, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and many other technological aspects explains it. At the end this book gives trifling glimpse of future dangers to our world by technology. I would definitely recommend you this book as it is a masterpiece with all the thought provoking ideas with the marvelous environment and all the trickery elements like when a friend at the end comes out to be a related to brute, all together it is an action packed thriller book. It is hard to skip although it uses mainstream plot and is somewhat like The DA VINCI CODE. But yet the idea, characters, places and some ruse factors makes it different which all together binds you (readers) to it. And believe me there are no spoiler in this review.
